Did the body work yourself huh..... Was that suppose to happen Yeah I did the body work. Was what supposed to happen? Me doing the bodywork or the straps breaking? I took collision and repair at king career center and did the truck there, that was planned. The straps breaking wasbt. I almost cried when i opened the man door on the trailer andd the truck was sitting up against the wall and the frojt tire was in the step just inside the door.

Not a nice experience. Hope you get it fixed easily. This happened as it was on its way to our body shop at kcc like 2 months ago, so its already fixed and painted. It was just added to the list of body work and its all doje now. looks pretty good for a body work noob.

Woo! Today was a good day for the ol beater. Picked up a set of BME 6.7 aluminum rods, body work on the bed is progressing fast, I also ordered an aluminum timing cover with a removable plate to change cams, adjust timing without. taking the cover off. Its also drilled for a pump extension so i can run my mechanical injection off the cam, which saves me about $1000. Woohoo!!

I'm in no rush to race, i am ancy about getting this baby fired after 2 years. I'm not in a rush, but with how many parts we've been getting in, weve been working on it every other night. Friday, will probably be our first attempt at firing it. Hopefully have jay child's there to help guide a bit. He came over to do my cert and was so helpful with the injection tips, wiring, all kinds of stuff. Very smart guy. i had a full page of notes when he left.

I trust jay with everything. He's been around this more than I am old. Every question i had, he answered. Gave me tips, ideas and was a big help. I have a good set up with my dad on the drivetrain, jay helping with my chassis, and me doing body and having general knowledge and internet reading skills.

Haven't updated in a while. Been working and juggling projects all winter long. Long story short my red and black truck got totaled because some girl poured aircraft stripper on it. Sold it to my sister to race TCR. Bought a 2wd and have spent this winter bagging and body dropping it. Racetruck is currently tore apart. Redoing the whole motor: New cam Bryant 4.14 crank with Chevy snout RCD crank support Brooks 6.7 rods Diamond pistons Dyke rings Neal chance bolt together convertor And the injector had I got dad for Christmas.
