The Nash is Dave kloniger from M&R auto that was located on diamond His partner Chuck gold ran a blue vega same paint scheme Ith green cougar was KC Hooks same car he has had since new. The vega is ken Sidel I think before the car was painted named havin fun. I don't remember who drove the rolling thunder altered.

If you look over the hood of the vega you can see the Grim reaper and beside it is either the M&M racing chevelle I think Mighty Mike would know.

Thanks for the names oldbluegoat. Ken Sidel is who I bought the Vette from and I put a Lingenfelter motor in it. In his garage at the time I picked up the vette was a Vega named The Bounty Hunter, think he said it was the first Pro Stock type car in Alaska.

I am wrong Kens car was the bounty hunter. Their were 3 or 4 vegas that ran then. This was in the mid 80s. there were 9.90-10.90 and 11.90 classes. The genetts ran a red camero in the 10.90 and Mike G and Mike M were hot competors. There was a monza that ran back then too that was a prostock type car.

You are right Bill! The Maroon Chevelle was my second Chevelle project, I built another '67 SS car right after I got out of the Service in '71 back in Chicago.

Was screamin' eagle John or Jay's car? Yeah scott, John dixon owns it now. and in my own opinion, it looks a lot better now then it did then. The body looks like it sits really low in the back in that picture. or maybe they just cut the lower section of the car off. Has the same paint job that robs dragster does too! That front engine dragster looks like Robby Hauck's from ths 80's or it could be tracey harris's fed.

I thought that the car John has was the old pure poisen car the nova is Tom Palmer the dragsters I don't know as back then the fast guys had their own club The only dragster I remember was Clarence Lemay as he was a real racer and sportsman. What ever happened to the old doc Ron econo dragster that that Mike welsh ran so succesfuly? Pure poisen was driven by Ted Queen.

The screaming eagle was Jays car John ran the american way at that time and Jimmy More ran an altered that was way wild til it crashed at the big end no one hurt came back on one of Orvils old chassies and was a lot better handeling with longer wheel base. Steve deptula ran a firebird that was like a pro stock car that was fast. The rel show was Squeeks oconor and Ron webb on their bikes on the track like it was back then. Bill Creech was running a 63 tempest that was fastest pontiac there ask him what a roll bar is good for he is watched over.

Ah, the old ron bacardi rail that my uncle mike used to have. I still have a picture of it that Ill have to dig up and put on here. Truth be told idk what happened to it. I believe he sold it and it went hand to hand till it went out of state. I know that clarence's son Gene is still in the chassis business and just moved up here recently. I heard a rumor that gene lemay was the one that fixed toni prockish's car after ity went ass over tea kettle last year. I dated Clerance Lemay's grand daughter Nichole
