Thanks for the compliments all. Installing the new coil springs was a real bitch though. No real idea on actual weight, I haven't weighed it but someone else with much the same set up (before K frame) had and came in right at 3000lbs. Now that I need a complete new front end alignment I think I'll go talk to the new mechanic in town who's shop is right next to Carlile. Carlile has a scale I have been eyeing an S10 box and pitman, is the flaming river set up like that? I looked at their site and they show applications for 1st gen Camaro's. Are they the same as third gen?

I am thinkin' 'bout puting a weight box in the back just to carry the front wheels a little farther ;D Anybody put one of them in? The rules say no loose weight but if I am to understand it if you use a weight box you can use sand bags Maybe I'll pull the rear bumper cover off next and just see what I can stuff back there I would like to show off the red stuff a little but Mr. Lile is still king of the Camaro wheel stands

Are you happy with the quality of the Spohn components? I'm thinking about a complete front end set from them for the my 3'rd gen Camaro. Thanks Brad

Are you happy with the quality of the Spohn components? I'm thinking about a complete front end set from them for the my 3'rd gen Camaro. Thanks Brad I am extremely happy with the quality of Spohn. It is not cheap but they offer the best stuff on the market. Their K frame comes complete with spring boxes and even has tabs for the factory brake line locations. They have several options to choose from so just give them a call and let them know what you want to do. Semi Serious has the torque arm that incorporates a tranny mount and driveline loop, K frame, A arms, wonder bar, under it. This stuff is truly "bolt in" with no fab needed. I went with different lower control arms before I knew how good of stuff this is and will probably replace with them later. I like the Edelbrock strut brace better though because it is a triangulating brace that also connects the fire wall in. Spohn even put my car on their customer cars page. You can't go wrong with them.
