The screaming eagle was Jays car John ran the american way at that time and Jimmy More ran an altered that was way wild til it crashed at the big end no one hurt came back on one of Orvils old chassies and was a lot better handeling with longer wheel base. Steve deptula ran a firebird that was like a pro stock car that was fast. The rel show was Squeeks oconor and Ron webb on their bikes on the track like it was back then. Bill Creech was running a 63 tempest that was fastest pontiac there ask him what a roll bar is good for he is watched over. The day that I found out what the bar was for, also happened to be the day that I ran the quickest pass with the LeMans. I had been running 11.72s like it was on a program, but since I hadn't warmed it up fully on the first pass, I short shifted and run an 11.61. On the third pass, the tranny locked up and out in the grass I went. One endo and three and a half rolls. I finnished the day working the line. I had to beat the roof from around the roll bar to get it out of the car. Used it, for a while, in the goat.
