That is correct. If you have the tubes that come with the evac kit it should be parallel to the pipe about 1/2" inside the pipe.

are you running full exhaust w/mufflers? if so, what mufflers?

I am running cherry bom turbos just forward of the rear end stock muffler location 2.5" in and out 3" collectors. Didnt get the evac system on yet it is going in my collector extensions.
