How about carrying some of the ideas from the '09 stimulus plan over to the 2010 stimulus plan. The idea here is to promote ARP and the "keep it off the street" idea. We will also need someone to communicate the ideas to Earl and Karen. I vote for the "best light challenge" for one. Who would've guessed that

I agree, best light, wheelstand contest.
One that I think would be really cool is to target the youth. If I get enough people behind me on this, I want o have a car show at south anchorage Highschool, Because to be honest, Teens are the number one people killed in street racing related accidents.

I did bring over the Track Stimulis 2009 posts just so they were not lost. This is a good section to start talking about it again. Thanks JJ

Devin, Your pretty telented, Why don't you make a poster or two. Promoting ARP and Safety. You could use some race shots of the pro-street cars and some bad street racing crash shots (Not Bloody ones) and aim it at kids your age. "The Safest place to Race, Alaska Raceway Park" - "Have fun and stay alive doing it" "An ET slip is alot more impressive then a death certificate". OR! "Impress your girlfriend! Take her home alive" and show a couple good pictures. Just some suggestions I'll bet if you got something going, they would follow. ;D And then you might be able to get a car show done at school. If i could be there and help you, i would.

Im going to talk to Beth from the track and the administration here, but this school is so damn uptight that they probably wouldn't go for it.

See if you can get the cops to sponsor their own drag car to race at the track. The Portland car is a souped up cruiser, says "Beat The Heat" on it. Its always at the track. It even drives around the street. But folks know they can go to the track and race the cops ;-) Kind of a neat draw.
Oh yeah - I made it to the new list - I'm wondering if my profile stuff came over with me.

Hola! I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know I'm working on my first two sets of racer trading cards (Thanks AKNOVA!)
They are $96 for 500, full color on the front, and black and white on the back. That includes design and layout, and they are UV coated (shiny) on the front. The size is 2.5 x 3.5, just like baseball cards.
If you're interested, let me know. I also have access to a variety of promotional items as well, that helps make a connection with the fans.
