First use on my Xmas present, Moroso Leak down tester. Cool tool and easy to use. All eight cylinders on a cold motor right at 6% leakage.
Did not detect any past the valves, all past the rings and I feel like it's all good. Because the leak test was all good, valve lash unchanged, and oil fiter cut open and inspected clean, I am going to give the engine a clean bill of health and put it back in the car. I did find the nagging oil leak, from one of the plugs on back of block..............Turns out they are not plugs, but restrictors, must have been installed when AC Machine put it together several years ago...........
Lots of folks say not to run them, but having run them since going roller, might as well leave them in as all is well as is.
You guys run restrictors?
One other test that would be nice would be to check valve spring pressure. Need to score a good on head tester. Looking at the LSM tool....................
