Well it ain't the Marx Brothers but it's a different view of the track. My first attempt at a time lapse video taken on July 3, 2011. I actually had the camera set up on July 4th too but I think I forgot to move the switch from standby to "on" so I didn't get anything that day. Good thing I'm not doing anything important out there! I'm still on a learning curve for time lapse videos so maybe the next one will be a bit better. My biggest problem is that the camera I'm using will only go down to 1 pic every minute and I really need a pic more often than that to get some smooth video. Interesting nontheless. Dan

I always wondered about that...turned out pretty cool...be nice to set up at the tower or tailstand over looking pits before gates open to see the space fill up. Your one minute pic lilitation would be able to capture that very well and would be a great opener for one of your event vids. Just a thought.

That's a great idea Randy. I only see one problem. I'd have to get up really early... and I'm not a real morning person since I retired. Now that I think about it, I believe there's a way to make the camera "wake up" at a certain time so I could set it up the night before. I'll have to check into that.
