So, how did it turn out? Would have been there, but Car will not pass Track rules There were a bunch of cars. I hurt my motor even before I made a pass.... Hurt something in the bottom end even though it ran there is slight noise. Taking it out of the car tomorrow and tearing the engine down to see the damage. I'm probably done for the season. Tim

I hope you all have a good time and this turns out to be something that can continue. We did have a great time! Weather was perfect and we had 12 cars in M.B. and I don't know how many for T&T but the lanes were very full all night long. It was a pretty good success all things considered. But it can not continue without more turn-out. We need cars more than ever. Maybe this will get people who are close, to get a little more motivation: The total purse was a little over $1,000 split between two racers. (And this was with only 12 cars) Granted this was with a $500.00 sponsor, and the other 1/2 was entry fees. I am looking for another sponsor so we can try this again before season end. Most likely it'll be on labor day weekend as long as it gets Earls blessing. (Imagine if we can get a couple of sponsors) There is some serious Hot-Rod money to be made here, doing exactly what you love to do. What more could you want?

Thanks again to Alaska Safety (Clint) and a great time. That was a lot of fun and I for one would not hesitate to do that again, even though I didn't get any of his money. Close though...

I would be in for Friday on Labor day weekend, any more racing when driving down from Fairbanks is a good thing.

Okay, I was so worried about making the car go fast I forgot about the Fire system, Looks like I need a fire suspression system in the Car. So, out of $ and also need to make a Gear change, before I blow the motor up, 8100rpm is to much That my friends, is the problem

I guess a fire extinguisher isn't good enough.... But with the fire crew we have, I think a fire suppression system would be a good idea for a car at any speed. And 8100 isn't that much.7800 sounds better, but 8100 isn't bad for a pro built motor.
