Being that this coming Friday is sponsored by me, and I have been told, "I can do Whatever I want" I would like to hold a money bracket event this coming Friday the 29th.
This is more of a FYI thing. This friday is a test and tune night, but we can do whatever we want. Might be a fun night of just good old fashioned racing for some extra cash. A Dash for Cash night, no points, no pressure, no silly street car rules.
Is $50.00 still acceptable by most racers? Keep in mind that the more the entrance fee the more you can win. It also can kill attendance if the price is too high.
Inputs??? Anybody interested in coming up Friday night if there was a chance in winning some cash? How much cash would it take to draw racers out of the woodwork?

I will be there trying to get my car figured out. If I can, which at this point seems far fetched, I'll run a money bracket.

Well I just got off the phone with Karen and have some more information. The park opens at 5:00pm, lanes open at 6:00. She said typically the track runs till 9:00, but we can run till 10:00 if neccessary. So with that being said, unfortunately we need to get started pretty early. I would suggest we let the "tuners" do their thing Friday night in say lanes 5 &6. I would like to see us run a ladder for once! We could probably squeeze about 2 qualifing rounds in and start eliminations at about . with qualifing rounds, we really don't need a lot of T&T time. Ladder could be based on best package, best RT, or closest to dial. Whatever the majority wants. One more thing I would like to see is we pay $ down to semi's. More cars meens more $, more round pay-outs hopefully will bring more cars. Guys, I am not an event organizer! So any help would be greatly appreciated. I need input and help. If these ideas sound like fun, bring your hot rod to the track and race with us!!!!!!!! You might win some cash! I think if we can get the purse up, we can draw people out. This is all pretty short notice I know. If we can get at least 20 cars to show up, I will add another $500.00 to the purse. And by the way Devin. Being a delay box guy, I like 1/8 mile, but I think the majority would want 1/4 mile.

Being a 8.50 altered I like 1/8th because its more competitive at the 1/8th. Idk about you guys but our car runs a very consistent 1/8 mile with would make it more competitive but if we run 1/4 I will run my truck. Wait, is there a max e.t?

It doesn't matter to us, we'll do what the majority wants to do. It's all fun..

So, how did it turn out? Would have been there, but Car will not pass Track rules I went really fast! Got to run my 2000 silverado! I race postichek in round 1 and lost, bought back in and raced him again! Beat him the second time around. I then raced Clint. A 9.13 vs. A 17.02. We both broke out, me worse. I believe Clinton went on to win his own sponsored day.
