Hi! Im rebuiling a 350 chevy. Trying to figure out my options.
Should I order a prebalanced rotating assembly from the lower 48, or have balancing done in Anchorage? (im out in the stix, no machine shop here)
Also it spun a main. One saddle looks marginal, might need machining. Is it worth it? Should I just get a new/used block? Where can I get one?
thanks

Either way you are going to have to have machine work done to your block or another. What year is it?

Have my receipt in front of me from last year. Balancing was $250.00. Keep in mind yours will depend on how much work they have to do. If they have to add Mallory the price goes up fast. To align the mains and deck to 0 ran me $350.00. I have a 350 short block that's balanced (new/rebuilt, has not been run yet) and a complete 400 Carb to Oil pan with only about 30 min run time for sale. If your interested give me a shout at 854-8577
Good Luck! Will
