Is the sv1's size the only reason your not running it? I'm pretty stoked to get mine this week. I'm not sure if your carb would work for my motor, my little small block is putting out the very minimum to run an sv1.

yeah the dominator type carb is just to physically big to use on my car unless I do some pretty major surgery because of the engine setback/lack of space what cfm did you order for your motor? 1150 might be just a tad large ?

Mine is a 1100 I believe, that's the smallest they offer. Mine cost the same as your but will be well worth it.

yeah there supposed to work really well..I'm interested in seeing how it works for you that might spur me into doing the trickery to get the one I have on my car...althoug I'm in the low 10's now any faster and I have to rig up some sort of containment for the motor...its a bitch when the rules slow you down...

Reminds me of the build'em, paint'em, bake'em, fix'em and break'em, days. Lots of work... but oh what a joy to see when they are done...

Its starting to come together. New front upper a arms, lowering spindles, new ball joints and wheels bearing also. Wheel installed and this is about what it should sit like once the coil springs have sagged. Intake, headers, and valve covers on just for mock up. Still need to cut the hole in the fenders and build a flange for the exhaust to exit the fender. My carb will be here monday so I'll have a picture of it sitting on there after that. Another of the headers. They barely clear the down bars on my cage.

Your Headers are Cool. You should be blowing off Fenders soon, starting with you're own LOL

The cut outs look good. Just make sure no one is standing by em when ever you fire that thing up. Looks cool.
