You could always send a picture of your car to the Site's Administrator at bulls@gci.net
He'd place your photos for you. Just make sure you tell him your Forum name like 9secondsatellite

Well I just left a message for anybody that will call me back on the track cell phone. I just hate to spend a bunch of time on this prior to knowing if ARP is actually going to implement and enforce the new rules. Sounds like the Subaru Guy, (sorry I do not know who you are) sounds like he's already neck deep in this subject, and the last thing I want to do is duplicate his efforts. Somebody needs to be the Grand-Puh-Bah. (not me) and we all make suggestions to him. He should then tally up the common denominators and wallah, we have new rules. Simple Right? Any nominations for the Grand-Puh-Bah? Rick Nissen loves this kind of shit, Dwayne Lile has been a very succesfull racer for years, Mighty Mike is well liked and respected. WR6 Subaru Dude sounds like he's really into it. Maybe somebody that does not race KOS would be best? (Completely unbiassed this way) In a perfect world we would have a representative from several sides, Imports, Box, Regular KOS participant etc etc..... I suggest we start here. Elect an officer, and a few people for the board. Any suckers out there looking for abuse? Who's the Subaru guy?? If your talking about me. WS6 is a limited build late model firebird. When KOS first started we had a orange 69 chevelle we raced in it. The last few years I helped with the fastest late model camaro out there. (1998 camaro, aka the Mullet Machine for those of you that were out there the last big weekend). Seriously. Sign me up. I have alot of big ideas that should fit pretty much everyones cars. I have no problem and won't be racing this year. I helped put together the Summer Soltice races that Dwayne won this past summer. I think if the car can run low 11's or 10.0's why not. Import, late model, ect. The more you get to race the higher the payouts should be.

I would like to see some big changes in this class..... Rules are open for interpretation.. Street cars should be that!!!!! How about we have a sit down..... Mike,Clint,Rick,Dave,Chip,Carl,Ronnie, and EARL or the new track manager... I say we get it set up to have two classes, Heads up pro or outlaw street, and true street... I've got some ideas and I know 9secondsatellite has some rules in place from the KOS in fairbanks.... His car is fast! just go watch it on Youtube...71 Satellite 9.34@147.... Oh and thanks Devin .. I do have a street car and I drive it. Add me to this list. The only reason the car I wrenched on last year didn't run the class is because the exhaust was too short. We gave Rick a run many times, until we got into the 9's.

somehow candyman i thought you would respond to my post with some hostility. wasn't trying to . just asking which direction you were going? if you are going to have a discussion on this topic then stick to one side of it. Uh, Hey Uh......... sorry I did not ask for your permission to voice my opinion. Not asking now either. Here's me thinking that a guy that would drive a car near to 4000 pounds at speeds approaching 150 MPH without BASIC safety equipment is lacking something. Call that welder for sure. Good advice from people that know.

FrozenWs6- Sorry Firebird Guy! That was a low blow on my part! I should have read your posts more closely, WR6 / WS6 I wasn't paying attention. Were you helping with Jeremy Miller's car? Nobody from ARP has returned my call as of yet. Any luck on your end?

It's cool, I thought you'd catch that since your wife has that nice bird that would look great next to mine, if it's ever for sale. Lol.. They used that rpo code back to the early 70's that I know of. Yeah I'm the one that did the suspension set up to get him down to the 1.30 60', and those wheels in the air launches. Also helped with the tuning. A friend that's been helping me talked to John Lackey a week or so ago and he said Earl was ready to listen. I've talked to Mark about a week ago also and he's definately ready for a new class or two. I just found an email address for Earl and sent him an email. Let me know what you find out. I think the outlaw class could be Dwayne (camaro), Dave (satelight), Brad (iroc camaro from fairbanks), and Scott (silver nova). That would be some great matchups. I'm sure there is someone I'm forgetting, but I'm drawing a blank right now. All low 9 second street cars.

LOL, I would love to sell the Firechicken, however my wife would NEVER forgive me! I need Race Car money in the worst way, but selling her car is unfortunately not an option. No contact from ARP as of yet. What are your proposed rule's? Don't forget Mighty Mike, he has a low 9 second street car. Chip and Ron should be able to race as well in an unlimited type of class. To be honest though.....We're getting nowhere. Racing starts in 10 weekends and nothing has changed. We should just do what Mike suggested: Change KOS to a bracket race, alter the way the purse is calculated and call it good. Fastest qualifier should get a percentage of the purse, but everybody else has a crack at the fast boys if its a bracket race. Bring on the whining!

10 weeks to racing! That's close enough to start getting exicited about it. I would agree with Clint, way close to game time to be comptemplating rule changes in any regard. I would think that 2010 rules as is are in stone. Changes for 2011 should be addressed ASAP. That gives me a little over 10 weeks to decide if I want to fix my wiper motor., and a year to make changes to the Camaro for a class not yet existing? ;D Set up some grudge matches / heads up type racing for some of this years regular events. That could be fun!

Only takes about 15 minutes to change the Rules. The Rules are only on ARP's Website.

Still, I think someone should start a thread on all the rules in question, not just KOS, but all others too.
