Although I'm not racing at APR anymore I'll go ahead and chime in since I really liked the KOS. I liked the two phases who's fastest and who's better bracket racer (this gives the guys with slower cars a chance to win something) Ultimately that's what any racer wants a chance to win. So how do you do that for a "street car" competition. First tires-they need to be DOT and they got to be smaller (ie P315 or 12" and smaller) most of the other current rules are fine in my mind. The other issue is race setup. Once the three lap tour starts there's no going back to pits until you have a winner. I think these two changes would even the playing field and transfer some of the advantage from race cars to street cars which may make a street car that's there TnT compete in KOS

Tech junkie..... Ha ha..... You know me better than that Bill. My motor is a wimpy 9.1 406ci The worst thing is my car needs a diet... 3660#s Think I could get on the Biggest loser show? I have talked to Ron from fairbanks about the chevelle, might work something out there. That cat would be 1000-1200 pounds lighter then mine. Soo if numbers are correct I could run mid 8s with my setup.... Makes me think hard. Everyone else has big tired light cars... How you like-n Oklahoma?

I would like it better if the farmer and track owner wold get it together that way it would be a 20 min. drive to the track. The weather is turning cold here 36 tonight but will be 70s by sunday.leaves everywhere and pecans. I will get car upand going shortly. I messed my big toe up loading truck up there freak accident. Man I didnt think your car was that heavy mine is only 3760 with me in it. The lighter the easier to go fast. sounds like it is race car time again. You have a good winter.
