No problem JJ. Like I said, I like having these people here because it makes me try harder. and if i beat any of them i can be like... "Damn im good" haha.
haha. No, last time I had a muscle spasm was in the flat bed i raced and i hit my head on the back window. Do you have any idea how hard those glass windows are?! Those things are dangerous! hahaha. Do you leave off of a transbreak or a foot break?

I have heard that Goodies car is certified to 8.50; is that true? Yep, 8.50 certs in it's current form. That car was build by a real chassis guy for his own use. Very nice work, mild steel and A arm design. I do not think it would take much to cert for 7.50 with some additions..................... I really like that car, 66 / 67 is my Nova of choice. Just a mean looking car!

I agree. Just a bad looking car, no matter what way you look at it. Its so clean to. Good comparison to Jim Reeves. I think all goodie needs to cert to 7.50 is a funny car cage if he doesn't already have one.

Just curious as to the rules for Delay Boxes. If you have a Delay Box in your car, but want to run in Mod ET one day and Top ET the next day at the races, do you have to take the box out of the car during the Mod ET race

I do believe it must be out of the car to race in mod..... If you just unhooked it, who's to say it may not get hooked back up ???on accident... Ha ha...

You could always use that thing where you hook the wires into one end, then have the adapter thing, and yeah, with the threads, so you can unscrew it and half the wiring comes out and half doesn't, that way you would just have to unscrew that and take out the 4 bolts that hold the box in. But why mess with it? Run a box or dont. If you run a box, im sorry. I didn't mean to scare you out of mod Jeff.

Actually I was working on the control box that would hold the wiring for the Transmitter and all the Servo's I'm going to need. I was just contemplating installing the Delay Box with that box. I figure 6 Servo's should do it for my T/B, brakes, throttle, Nos progression, two step and one for spare. Then with my Helicopter 8 channel controller I could just sit by the track and race all day long. Guess I could make it a Plug-N-Play deal.

I have ran a lot of races in the old days with Bob shifting at 4700 every time and it hit hard enough that it churped the cheater slicks on 1-2 shift very consistent. No air or electric necessary. alwase liked running box cars cause when you get to where you can run them hard at the lites you are pushing it right.
