I got the last call from DRE on Saturday on final measurements. Yeah, they work on the week-ends down there! It should fit like a nice pair of new shoes??? But it's going to hurt. $$$
PS: Still have the other brand new DRE diaper for sale. Candyman?

I think we have a few cars with parachutes that dont need them, wings too! They look racey, everyone knows chicks dig wings and chutes! While your probably right Craig about the wings I do know that while I'm only going through the traps at 125mphish, the Camaro sure is more stable the last few hundred feet then it used to be. Besides it looks cool and gives me a place to set my drink ;D

Me and Mom need to get the pans put on our cars. I'm not running a diaper. Scott shouldn't either, he just got out of em' Anyone found a decent price on the pans? Everyone that I've seen has been $200-$300 I know that the actual diaper would be more safe, but what about the heat. I know we've gone over this before, but running blown gas, my truck will be hot as it is. I think I'll take my chances and run the pan. If I blow it up bad enough to shoot something through the oil pan AND through the pan, I'm pretty sure I'll be done for the season. Back to photos Devin, this is what I'm going to run on the rail, no reason why it won't work on your truck and your Mom's car too: www.swracecars.com/store/Dragster-Belly-Pan-Kit-OSCARItem_133=05-171.aspxPan, 4 pads and shipping is less than $200....and extra pads are something like $3 each and hold some ridiculous amount, like 26 gallons....... Kind of read over this thread, so your rule reads if you go sub 10 secs you need a diaper??? We follow IHRA rules 7.99 or faster. I really would like to come up and race with you, but I do not think it is worth it if I have to put a diaper on ($400 or more) for 1 race. I like the fine idea if you cause a oil down because that I could do, anyways look forward to coming up July 1
Doug ;D

Mark has always let something go the first time, but since someone brought it up, it's not likely to happen, in this case, unless it's okayed with Earl first.

[ PS: Still have the other brand new DRE diaper for sale. Candyman?[/quote] Mike, Thanks for the offer, but I am going to pass. Little outside my budget for the diaper. Hey, looks like there may be a market for "Diaper rental"?

rob, is that pan wide enough? :/ Here' what it says: Dragster Belly Pan Kit 05-171 Tired of fighting with heavy, hard to install engine diapers on your dragster? The S&W's belly pan kit is what you need. Made of .050" aluminum the pan measures 18-1/2" wide x 28" long and has 4" front and side walls and a 6" rear wall. The walls can be easily trimmed to clear your accessories while maintaining the required minimum 2" height. Kit includes 6 mounting tabs which must be welded to your chassis, and all turn installation. Pan has bare aluminum finish. Requires the use of two (2) absorbent pads, part # 05-171-03, which are sold separately. I just measured your frame rails and they're 29" inside, we'll have to build stand offs to reach it or widen it, either way I can make it work. I'll have to narrow mine but my chassis pinches down toward the front any way. Rob

My pan is 24" wide, custom made locally, and didn't cost as much as the one from S&W.

I also have a diaper for sale or rent. The one that I paid for and couldn't use is a RCI Racing part #7809A. It is a universal so it really doesn't fit anything very well. It is huge, ugly and guaranteed to make preventative maintenance a pain in the ass. But by golly it has a SFI 7.2 rating on it. Check out the following link if you want to know more: www.summitracing.com/parts/RCI-7809A/ Lets start the negotiations at $200.00 SOLD!! Thank you!! ;D
